Matthew 2
Now when Yeshua was born in Beitlechem of Yudah in the days of King Herodus, wise men* came from the east to Yerushalayim, and they said, 2 “Where is he, the King of the Judeans, who has been born? For we saw his star in the east, and we have come to worship him.” 3 And King Herodus heard this and was troubled, as well as all Yerushalayim with him. 4 And he gathered all of the chief priests and scribes of the people, he asked them where the Messiah would be born. 5 They answered, “In Beitlechem of Yudah, for it is written like this by the prophet, 6 ‘You Beitlechem of Yudah, you will not be the least of Yudah: therefore from you a king will go out, who will shepherd the kings among my people, Yisrael.'” *

7 Then Herodus secretly called the wise men, and learned from them exactly what time the star appeared. 8 He sent them to Beitlechem, and said, “Go and search carefully for the boy and when you have found him inform me so that I too can go and worship him.”

9 And when they heard from the king they departed; and behold, the star, which they saw in the east, was going before them, until it came and stood over where the boy was. 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with very much joy. 11 And they entered the house and saw the boy with Miriam, his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. And they opened their treasures and offered to him gifts: gold, myrrh and incense. 12 It was shown to them in a dream that they should not return to Herodus, so they went back to their own country by another way.

13 When they left, an angel of Mar-Yah appeared to Yoseph in a dream, and said to him, “Arise. Take the boy and his mother and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herodus is going to seek the boy so as to destroy him.”

14 Yoseph arose and took the boy and his mother during the night, and fled to Egypt, 15 and remained there until the death of Herodus; that it might be fulfilled that which was spoken by Mar-Yah by the prophet, saying, “From Egypt I have called my son,” * for He shall be called a Nasarean*.

16 Then Herodus, when he saw that he was mocked by the wise men, was very angry, and sent out, and killed all the boys of Beitlechem and from its borders, two years and under, according to the time he had inquired from the wise men.

17Then it was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, who said, 18 “A voice was heard in Ramah, great crying and wailing, Rachel weeping for her sons; she did not desire to be comforted, because they are no more.”*

19 When King Herodus died, the angel of Mar-Yah appeared in a dream to Yoseph in Egypt, and said to him, 20 “Arise and take the boy and his mother, and go to Eretz-Yisrael, for they who were seeking the life of the boy have died.” 21 Yoseph arose and took the boy and his mother and came to Eretz-Yisrael. 22 When he heard that Archelaus was king in Yudah in place of his father, Herodus, he was afraid to go there. And it was revealed to him in a dream, that he should go to the land of Galil, 23 and came and dwelled in the city that is called Nasrath; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet: “He will be called a Nasarean.”

James 2
1 My brethren, you shall not hold the faith of the glory of Maran Yeshua Mshikha with a bias concerning various people. 2 For if a man comes into your assembly with rings of gold or expensive attire, and there also comes in a poor man with inexpensive attire; 3 and you show respect to the one who is clothed in expensive garments, and say to him, Have yourself a seat here, conspicuously; while to the poor man, you say, You stand over here, or sit here in front of my footstool; 4 are you not divided among yourselves, and become expositors of evil thoughts?

5 Hear, my beloved brethren: Has Alaha not chosen the poor of the world, but the rich in faith, to be heirs in the kingdom which Alaha has promised to those who love him? 6 But you have despised the poor man. Do rich men not exalt themselves over you, and drag you before the courts? 7 Do they not revile that worthy name, which is invoked upon you?

8 And if in this you fulfill the Torah of Alaha, as it is written, You shall love your neighbor as yourself, you will do well: 9 but if you have bias concerning different people, you commit sin; and you are convicted by Torah, as transgressors of Torah.

10 For he that shall observe the whole Torah, and yet fail in one Mitzvah, is obnoxious to the whole Torah. 11 For he who said, You shall not commit adultery, said also, You shall not murder. If then you commit no adultery, but you murder, you have become a transgressor of Torah.

12 So speak and act as persons that are to be judged by the Torah of liberty. 13 For judgment without mercy shall be on him, who has practised no mercy: by mercy, you will be raised above judgment.

14 What is the use, my brethren, if a man says, I have faith; and he has no works? can his faith make him live? 15 Or if a brother or sister is without clothing, and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, Go in peace, warm yourselves, and be full; and you do not give them the necessary thing for the body, what is the use?

17 So, likewise, faith alone, without works, is dead. 18 For a man may say, You have faith, and I have works; show to me your faith that is without works; and I will show to you, my faith by my works.

19 You believe that there is one Alaha; you do well; the demons also believe, and tremble. 20 Would you know, weak man, that faith without works is dead?

21 Was Abraham our father not justified by works in offering his son Yitzkhak upon the altar? 22 Do you see that his faith aided his works, and that by the works his faith was rendered complete? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled, which says: Abraham believed in Alaha, and it was accounted to him for righteousness, and he was called the friend of Alaha. 24 You see, that by works a man is justified, and not by faith alone.

25 So also Rahab, the harlot, was she not justified by works when she entertained the spies and sent them forth by different way?

26 As the body without the spirit, is dead; so faith without works, is dead also.

Ode 5
1As the wind glides through the harp and the strings speak, 2so the Spirit of Mar-Yah speaks through my members, and I speak through His love. 3For He destroys whatever is alien, and everything is of Mar-Yah.

4For thus it was from the beginning, and will be until the end, 5so that nothing shall be contrary, and nothing shall rise up against Him.

6Mar-Yah has multiplied his knowledge [throughout the earth], and He was zealous that those things should be known which through His grace have been given to us. 7And His praise He gave us on account of His name, our spirits praise His Holy Spirit.

8For there went forth a stream, and it became a river great and broad; indeed it carried away everything, and it shattered and brought it to the Temple. 9And the barriers which were built by men were not able to restrain it, nor even the arts of them who habitually restrain water. 10For it spread over the surface of all the earth, and it filled everything.

11Then all the thirsty upon the earth drank, and thirst was relieved and quenched – for from the Most High the drink was given. 12Blessed, therefore, are the ministers of that drink, who have been entrusted with His water. 13They have refreshed the parched lips, and have aroused the paralysed will. 14Even living persons who were about to expire, they have held back from death.

15And limbs which have collapsed, they have restored and set up. 16They gave strength for their coming, and light for their eyes. 17Because everyone recognised them as belonging to Mar-Yah Alaha, and lived by the living water of eternity. Halilu’Ya.

Leviticus 9:1 – 11:47
9:1 It happened on the eighth day, that Mosha called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Yisrael; 9:2 and he said to Aaron, “Take a calf from the herd for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before Mar-Yah. 9:3 You shall speak to the B’nai Yisrael, saying, ‘Take a male goat for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both a year old, without blemish, for a burnt offering; 9:4 and a bull and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before Mar-Yah; and a meal offering mixed with oil: for today Mar-Yah appears to you.'”

9:5 They brought what Mosha commanded before the Tabernacle: and all the congregation drew near and stood before Mar-Yah. 9:6 Mosha said, “This is the thing which Mar-Yah commanded that you should do: and the glory of Mar-Yah shall appear to you.” 9:7 Mosha said to Aaron, “Draw near to the altar, and offer your sin offering, and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself, and for the people; and offer the offering of the people, and make atonement for them; as Mar-Yah commanded.”

9:8 So Aaron drew near to the altar, and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself. 9:9 The sons of Aaron presented the blood to him; and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar: 9:10 but the fat, and the kidneys, and the cover from the liver of the sin offering, he burned upon the altar; as Mar-Yah commanded Mosha. 9:11 The flesh and the skin he burned with fire outside the camp. 9:12 He killed the burnt offering; and Aaron’s sons delivered the blood to him, and he sprinkled it around on the altar. 9:13 They delivered the burnt offering to him, piece by piece, and the head: and he burned them upon the altar. 9:14 He washed the innards and the legs, and burned them on the burnt offering on the altar. 9:15 He presented the offering of the people, and took the goat of the sin offering which was for the people, and killed it, and offered it for sin, like the first. 9:16 He presented the burnt offering, and offered it according to the ordinance. 9:17 He presented the meal offering, and filled his hand from there, and burned it upon the altar, besides the burnt offering of the morning. 9:18 He also killed the bull and the ram, the sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron’s sons delivered to him the blood, which he sprinkled around on the altar, 9:19 and the fat of the bull and of the ram, the fat tail, and that which covers the innards, and the kidneys, and the cover of the liver: 9:20 and they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burned the fat on the altar: 9:21 and the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved for a wave offering before Mar-Yah, as Mosha commanded. 9:22 Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people, and blessed them; and he came down from offering the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings.

9:23 Mosha and Aaron went into the Tabernacle, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of Mar-Yah appeared to all the people. 9:24 There came forth fire from before Mar-Yah, and consumed the burnt offering and the fat upon the altar: and when all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

10:1 Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer, and put fire in it, and laid incense on it, and offered strange fire before Mar-Yah, which he had not commanded them. 10:2 And fire came forth from before Mar-Yah, and devoured them, and they died before Mar-Yah.

10:3 Then Mosha said to Aaron, “This is what Mar-Yah spoke of, saying,

‘I will show myself holy to those who come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified.'”

Aaron held his peace. 10:4 Mosha called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said to them, “Draw near, carry your brothers from before the sanctuary out of the camp.” 10:5 So they drew near, and carried them in their coats out of the camp, as Mosha had said.

10:6 Mosha said to Aaron, and to Eleazar and to Ithamar, his sons, “Do not let the hair of your heads go loose, neither tear your clothes; that you do not die, and that he not be angry with all the congregation: but let your brothers, the whole house of Yisrael, bewail the burning which Mar-Yah has kindled. 10:7 You shall not go out from the door of the Tabernacle, lest you die; for the anointing oil of Mar-Yah is on you.” They did according to the word of Mosha.

10:8 Mar-Yah spoke to Aaron, saying, 10:9 “Drink no wine nor strong drink, you, nor your sons with you, when you go into the Tabernacle, that you do not die: it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations: 10:10 and that you are to make a distinction between the holy and the common, and between the unclean and the clean; 10:11 and that you are to teach the B’nai Yisrael all the statutes which Mar-Yah has spoken to them by Mosha.”

10:12 Mosha spoke to Aaron, and to Eleazar and to Ithamar, his sons who were left, “Take the meal offering that remains of the offerings of Mar-Yah made by fire, and eat it without yeast beside the altar; for it is most holy; 10:13 and you shall eat it in a holy place, because it is your portion, and your sons’ portion, of the offerings of Mar-Yah made by fire: for so I am commanded. 10:14 The waved breast and the heaved thigh you shall eat in a clean place, you, and your sons, and your daughters with you: for they are given as your portion, and your sons’ portion, out of the sacrifices of the peace offerings of the B’nai Yisrael. 10:15 The heaved thigh and the waved breast they shall bring with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before Mar-Yah: and it shall be yours, and your sons’ with you, as a portion forever; as Mar-Yah has commanded.”

10:16 Mosha diligently inquired about the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was burned: and he was angry with Eleazar and with Ithamar, the sons of Aaron who were left, saying, 10:17 “Why have you not eaten the sin offering in the place of the sanctuary, seeing it is most holy, and he has given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before Mar-Yah? 10:18 Behold, its blood was not brought into the inner part of the sanctuary: you certainly should have eaten it in the sanctuary, as I commanded.”

10:19 Aaron spoke to Mosha, “Behold, this day they have offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before Mar-Yah; and such things as these have happened to me: and if I had eaten the sin offering today, would it have been pleasing in the sight of Mar-Yah?”

10:20 When Mosha heard that, it was pleasing in his sight.

11:1 Mar-Yah spoke to Mosha and to Aaron, saying to them, 11:2 “Speak to the B’nai Yisrael, saying, ‘These are the living things which you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth. 11:3 Whatever parts the hoof, and is cloven-footed, and chews the cud among the animals, that you may eat.

11:4 “‘Nevertheless these you shall not eat of those that chew the cud, or of those who part the hoof: the camel, because he chews the cud but does not have a parted hoof, he is unclean to you. 11:5 The rock badger, because he chews the cud but does not have a parted hoof, he is unclean to you. 11:6 The hare, because she chews the cud but does not part the hoof, she is unclean to you. 11:7 The pig, because he has a split hoof, and is cloven-footed, but does not chew the cud, he is unclean to you. 11:8 Of their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch; they are unclean to you.

11:9 “‘These you may eat of all that are in the waters: whatever has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, that you may eat. 11:10 All that do not have fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of all the living creatures that are in the waters, they are forbidden to you, 11:11 and you detest them. You shall not eat of their flesh, and you shall detest their carcasses. 11:12 Whatever has no fins nor scales in the waters, that is forbidden to you.

11:13 “‘These you shall detest among the birds; they shall not be eaten, they are forbidden: the eagle, and the vulture, and the black vulture, 11:14 and the red kite, any kind of black kite, 11:15 any kind of raven, 11:16 the horned owl, the screech owl, and the gull, any kind of hawk, 11:17 the little owl, the cormorant, the great owl, 11:18 the white owl, the desert owl, the osprey, 11:19 the stork, any kind of heron, the hoopoe, and the bat.

11:20 “‘All flying insects that walk on all fours are forbidden to you. 11:21 Yet you may eat these: of all winged creeping things that go on all fours, which have legs above their feet, with which to hop on the earth. 11:22 Even of these you may eat: any kind of locust, any kind of katydid, any kind of cricket, and any kind of grasshopper. 11:23 But all winged creeping things which have four feet, are forbidden to you.

11:24 “‘By these you will become unclean: whoever touches the carcass of them shall be unclean until the evening. 11:25 Whoever carries any part of their carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening.

11:26 “‘Every animal which parts the hoof, and is not cloven-footed, nor chews the cud, is unclean to you. Everyone who touches them shall be unclean. 11:27 Whatever goes on its paws, among all animals that go on all fours, they are unclean to you. Whoever touches their carcass shall be unclean until the evening. 11:28 He who carries their carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. They are unclean to you.

11:29 “‘These are they which are unclean to you among the creeping things that creep on the earth: the weasel, the rat, any kind of great lizard, 11:30 the gecko, and the monitor lizard, the wall lizard, the skink, and the chameleon. 11:31 These are they which are unclean to you among all that creep. Whoever touches them when they are dead, shall be unclean until the evening. 11:32 On whatever any of them falls when they are dead, it shall be unclean; whether it is any vessel of wood, or clothing, or skin, or sack, whatever vessel it is, with which any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the evening; then it will be clean. 11:33 Every earthen vessel, into which any of them falls, all that is in it shall be unclean, and you shall break it. 11:34 All food which may be eaten, that on which water comes, shall be unclean; and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean. 11:35 Everything whereupon part of their carcass falls shall be unclean; whether oven, or range for pots, it shall be broken in pieces: they are unclean, and shall be unclean to you. 11:36 Nevertheless a spring or a cistern in which water is a gathered shall be clean: but that which touches their carcass shall be unclean. 11:37 If part of their carcass falls on any sowing seed which is to be sown, it is clean. 11:38 But if water is put on the seed, and part of their carcass falls on it, it is unclean to you.

11:39 “‘If any animal, of which you may eat, dies; he who touches its carcass shall be unclean until the evening. 11:40 He who eats of its carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. He also who carries its carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening.

11:41 “‘Every creeping thing that creeps on the earth is forbidden. It shall not be eaten. 11:42 Whatever goes on its belly, and whatever goes on all fours, or whatever has many feet, even all creeping things that creep on the earth, them you shall not eat; for they are forbidden. 11:43 You shall not make idols for yourselves of any creeping thing that creeps, neither shall you make yourselves unclean with them, that you should be defiled thereby. 11:44 For I am Mar-Yah your God. Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy; for I am holy: neither shall you defile yourselves with any kind of creeping thing that moves on the earth. 11:45 For I am Mar-Yah who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

11:46 “‘This is the law of the animal, and of the bird, and of every living creature that moves in the waters, and of every creature that creeps on the earth, 11:47 to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the living thing that may be eaten and the living thing that may not be eaten.’”
