Before Torah Reading

Matthew 5:17-20

Do not think that I came to dismiss the Torah or the Prophets. I have not come to dismiss, but to carry out. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one smallest letter or one stroke shall pass away from the Torah, until everything happens. Therefore, anyone who dismisses one of these small mitzvoth (Commandments), and thus teach the sons of men to do so, will be called little in the Kingdom of Heaven; but those who do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

When Removing Torah From Ark

When the Ark set out, Mosha would say: Arise, O AdonYah, and Your adversaries will be scattered, and Your enemies will flee before You. For from Zion shall go forth the Torah, and the Word of AdonYah from Jerusalem. Blessed is He who in His holiness gave Torah to His people Israel.

The Torah which Moshe commanded us is the heritage of congregation of Ya’aqub. (Kiss the Torah)

The Book of Matthew

Ch 4

1 Then Yeshua was taken by the Ruakh ha’Kodesh into the desert to be tempted by the
accuser.
2 And he fasted for forty days and forty nights, after which he began to hunger.

3 The tempter approached him and said to him” “If you are the Son of God, say to these stones ‘become bread’.”
4 And he answered: “It is written in Tanakh, ‘Not by bread alone does the son of man live, but by all the words that proceed from the mouth of God.’”
5 Then the accuser took him into the Holy City and raised him upon the edge of the temple,
6 and said to him, “If you the Son of God, cast yourself down, for it is written: ‘He will put his angels in command of you.’ and, ‘Upon their hands they will bear you up, that your foot should not strike a stone.’”
7 Yeshua said to him, “Again, it is written, ‘You shall not test Mar-Yah your God.’”
8 Again, the accuser took him to a mountain that was very high, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and their glory.
9 And the accuser to him: “I will give you all of these things if you will fall and worship me.”
10 Then Yeshua said to him: “Leave enemy! For it is written that ‘you shall worship Mar-Yah your God, and him alone shall you serve.’”
11 Then the accuser left him, and behold, angels approached and were ministering to him.

Gospel of Thomas

Ch 3

Miryam said to Yeshua: “Tell us, whom are your disciples like?”
2 Yeshua said to them: “They are like little children living with a field which does not belong to them. When the owners of the field come, they will say to them: ‘Give our field back to us.’ They remove their clothing before them in order to give back to them their field, and they give it back to them.”
3 “Therefore I say to you, If the master of the house knows that the thief is coming, he will keep watch before he comes, and will not let him dig into his house of his kingdom to carry off his vessels.”
4 “All of you, then, shall be watchful over against the world. Gird up your loins with great strength, that the brigands may not find a way to come at you, since the advantage for which you look they will find. May there be among you a man of understanding!”
5 “When the fruit was ripe, he came quickly, his sickle in his hand, and reaped it. He that has ears to hear, let him hear.”
6 Yeshua saw some infants nursing. And he said to his disciples: “These little ones that are nursing are like those who enter into the kingdom.”

The Book of Psalms

Ch 23-28

Mar-Yah is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to rest in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters. 3 He restores my soul. He leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely thy goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of Mar-

The Odes of Solomon

Odes 7

Open, open your hearts to the exultation of Mar-Yah, and let your love abound from the heart to the lips.
2 In order to bring forth fruits to Mar- Yah, a holy life; and to talk with watchfulness in His light.
3 Rise up and stand erect, you who sometimes were brought low.
4 You who were in silence, speak, for your mouth has been opened.

After Torah Reading

Psalm 119:18

Happy are they who are upright in the way, who walk in the Torah of AdonYah. Happy are they who keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart. They do no unrighteousness; they walk in His way. You have ordained Your precepts, that we should observe them diligently. Oh that my ways were directed to observe Your statutes! Then I would not be ashamed, when I have given diligence unto all Your mitzvoth. I will give thanks unto You with uprightness of heart, when I learn Your righteous ordinances. I will observe Your statutes; do not utterly forsake me.

Lord Yeshua, you who were brought forth by the very hand of God the Father, made known to the Blessed Mother Maryam, by the message of the angel Gabriel — I praise you, I thank you and I honour you with all my heart. It was you who said, ‘I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me, shall not hunger; and he that believeth on me, shall never thirst.’ Grant unto the presence of the Spirit of holiness as you promised to your disciples, so that I may understand the Word of God and the Will of the Father for me. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Forehead:”May I have the mind of Mshikha”, Mouth:”May I speak pure words of Torah”, Heart:”and may my heart be sealed”, Right shoulder: “in the blood of the Lamb”& Left shoulder :” Amen. ” God is One.

May Mar Yah Bless You and Keep You.
