Before Torah Reading
Matthew 5:17-20
Do not think that I came to dismiss the Torah or the Prophets. I have not come to dismiss, but to carry out. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one smallest letter or one stroke shall pass away from the Torah, until everything happens. Therefore, anyone who dismisses one of these small mitzvoth, and thus teach the sons of men to do so, will be called little in the Kingdom of Heaven; but those who do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
When Removing Torah From Ark
When the Ark set out, Mosha would say: Arise, O AdonYah, and Your adversaries will be scattered, and Your enemies will flee before You. For from Zion shall go forth the Torah, and the Word of AdonYah from Jerusalem. Blessed is He who in His holiness gave Torah to His people Israel.

THE BOOK OF MATTHEW

CHAPTER 17
1 And after six days Jesus took Cephas, and James, and John his brother, and took them
alone to a high mountain.
2 And Jesus was changed before them: and his face shone like the sun; and his
vestments became white like the light.
3 And there appeared to them
Moses and Elijah, in conversation with him.
4 Then Cephas answered and said to Jesus: My Lord, it is good for us to be here: and, if
it please you, we will make here three booths*; one for you, and one for Moses, and one
for Elijah.
5 And while he was yet speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and there
was a voice from
the cloud which said: This is my beloved Son, in whom
I have pleasure;
hear him.
6 And when the disciples heard this, they fell on their faces, and were very afraid.
7 And Jesus came to them
and touched them, and said: Arise, and do not be afraid.
8 And they raised their eyes, and they saw no one, except Jesus only.
9 And as they came down from
the mountain, Jesus charged them, and said to them:
Speak of this vision before no person, until the Son of man shall have arisen from
the
dead.
10 And his disciples asked him, and said to him: Why then do the Scribes say, that
Elijah must first come?
11 Jesus answered, and said to them: Elijah does come first, to fulfill every thing.
12 And I say to you. That, behold, Elijah has come, and they did not know him; and
they have done to him
whatever they pleased: and, in like manner, also the Son of m
an is
to suffer from
them.
13 Then the disciples understood that he spoke to them
of John the Baptizer.
14 And when they came to the multitude a man approached him
and bowed down on his
knees,
15 and said to him: My Lord, have com
passion on me. I have a son who has a demon,
and grievously afflicted; for often he falls into the fire and often into the water.
16 And I brought him
to your disciples and they could not heal him.
17 Jesus answered and said: O unbelieving and perverse generation! How long shall I be
with you?
and how long must I endure with you?
Bring him
here to me.
18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it departed from
him: and from
that hour the child
was healed.
19 Then the disciples came to Jesus, apart, and said to him: Why could we not heal him?
20 Jesus said to them: Because of your unbelief. For truly I say to you, That if there is in
you faith like a grain of mustard seed, you may say to this mountain, Move from
here,
and it will move: and nothing will be too hard for you.
21 But this kind does not go out, except by fasting and prayer.
22 And while they were traveling in Galilee, Jesus said to them
: The Son of man is to be
betrayed into the hands of men;
23 and they will murder him; and the third day he will arise. And they became very
saddened.
24 And when they came to Capernaum, those who receive the two drachm
as of head tax
came to Cephas, and said to him: Does your rabbi not pay his two drachmas?
25 He said to them, Yes. And when Cephas had entered the house, Jesus anticipated him
and said to him: How does it appear to you, Simon?
The kings of the earth, of whom
do
they receive head tax? of their children, or of aliens?
26 Simon said to him: Of aliens. Jesus said to him: Then the children are free.
27 But still, in case they become stumbled with us, go to the sea and cast in a fish-hook,
and the first fish that shall come up, open its mouth, and you will find a coin: take it and
give for me and for yourself.

THEW BOOK OF JAMES

Chapter 2

1 My brethren, you shall not hold the faith of the glory of Maran Yeshua Mshikha with a bias concerning various people. 2 For if a man comes into your assembly with rings of gold or expensive attire, and there also comes in a poor man with inexpensive attire; 3 and you show respect to the one who is clothed in expensive garments, and say to him, Have yourself a seat here, conspicuously; while to the poor man, you say, You stand over here, or sit here in front of my footstool; 4 are you not divided among yourselves, and become expositors of evil thoughts?

5 Hear, my beloved brethren: Has Alaha not chosen the poor of the world, but the rich in faith, to be heirs in the kingdom which Alaha has promised to those who love him? 6 But you have despised the poor man. Do rich men not exalt themselves over you, and drag you before the courts? 7 Do they not revile that worthy name, which is invoked upon you?

8 And if in this you fulfill the Torah of Alaha, as it is written, You shall love your neighbor as yourself, you will do well: 9 but if you have bias concerning different people, you commit sin; and you are convicted by Torah, as transgressors of Torah.

10 For he that shall observe the whole Torah, and yet fail in one Mitzvah, is obnoxious to the whole Torah. 11 For he who said, You shall not commit adultery, said also, You shall not murder. If then you commit no adultery, but you murder, you have become a transgressor of Torah.

12 So speak and act as persons that are to be judged by the Torah of liberty. 13 For judgment without mercy shall be on him, who has practised no mercy: by mercy, you will be raised above judgment.

14 What is the use, my brethren, if a man says, I have faith; and he has no works? can his faith make him live? 15 Or if a brother or sister is without clothing, and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, Go in peace, warm yourselves, and be full; and you do not give them the necessary thing for the body, what is the use?

17 So, likewise, faith alone, without works, is dead. 18 For a man may say, You have faith, and I have works; show to me your faith that is without works; and I will show to you, my faith by my works.

19 You believe that there is one Alaha; you do well; the demons also believe, and tremble. 20 Would you know, weak man, that faith without works is dead?

21 Was Abraham our father not justified by works in offering his son Yitzkhak upon the altar? 22 Do you see that his faith aided his works, and that by the works his faith was rendered complete? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled, which says: Abraham believed in Alaha, and it was accounted to him for righteousness, and he was called the friend of Alaha. 24 You see, that by works a man is justified, and not by faith alone.

25 So also Rahab, the harlot, was she not justified by works when she entertained the spies and sent them forth by different way?

26 As the body without the spirit, is dead; so faith without works, is dead also.

Didache ch 1:

blurb:

There are two ways, one of life and one of death; but there is certainly a great difference between these two ways.
The way of life, then, is this: First, you shall love God who made you; second, your neighbor as yourself; and you should never do to others, what you yourself would not want done to you by others.
And of these sayings the teaching is this: Bless all those who curse you, and pray for your enemies, and fast for all those who persecute you.

Listen to the Psalms in Hebrew

(It is our Tradition to listen to the Scriptures at least once a week in Hebrew)

Ode 22

Ode Twenty Two 1 I was rescued from my chains, and I fled unto You, O my God.
2 Because You are the right hand of salvation, and my Helper.
3 You have restrained those who rise up against me, and no more were they seen.
4 Because Your face was with me, which saved me by Your grace.
5 But I was despised and rejected in the eyes of many, and I was in their eyes like lead.
6 And I acquired strength from You, and help.
7 A lamp You set for me both on my right and on my left, so that there might not be in me anything that is not light.
8 And I was covered with the covering of Your Spirit, and I removed from me my garments of skin.
9 Because Your right hand exalted me, and caused sickness to pass from me.
10 And I became mighty in Your truth, and holy in Your righteousness.
11 And all my adversaries were afraid of me, and I became the Lord’s by the name of the Lord.
12 And I was justified by His kindness, and His rest is for ever and ever. Halleluyah.

After Torah Reading
Psalm 119:18
Happy are they who are upright in the way, who walk in the Torah of AdonYah. Happy are they who keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart. They do no unrighteousness; they walk in His way. You have ordained Your precepts, that we should observe them diligently. Oh that my ways were directed to observe Your statutes! Then I would not be ashamed, when I have given diligence unto all Your mitzvoth. I will give thanks unto You with uprightness of heart, when I learn Your righteous ordinances. I will observe Your statutes; do not utterly forsake me.

Lord Yeshua, you who were brought forth by the very hand of God the Father, made known to the Blessed Mother Maryam, by the message of the angel Gabriel — I praise you, I thank you and I honour you with all my heart. It was you who said, ‘I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me, shall not hunger; and he that believeth on me, shall never thirst.’ Grant unto the presence of the Spirit of holiness as you promised to your disciples, so that I may understand the Word of God and the Will of the Father for me. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Forehead:”May I have the mind of Mshikha”, Mouth:”May I speak pure words of Torah”, Heart:”and may my heart be sealed”, Right shoulder: “in the blood of the Lamb”& Left shoulder :” Amen. ” God is One.

Or Forehead:”Mshikha in my mind.”, Mouth:”Torah in my mouth.”, Heart:”The blood of the Lamb in my heart.”, Right shoulder:”In Yeshua’s Name.” & Left Shoulder:”Amen.”In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. God is One.

May Mar Yah Bless You and Keep You. 🙂
