Before Torah Reading

Matthew 5:1720

Do not think that I came to dismiss the Torah or the Prophets. I have not come to dismiss, but to carry out. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one smallest letter or one stroke shall pass away from the Torah, until everything happens. Therefore, anyone who dismisses one of these small mitzvoth, and thus teach the sons of men to do so, will be called little in the Kingdom of Heaven; but those who do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

When Removing Torah From Ark

When the Ark set out, Mosha would say: Arise, O AdonYah, and Your adversaries will be scattered, and Your enemies will flee before You. For from Zion shall go forth the Torah, and the Word of AdonYah from Jerusalem. Blessed is He who in His holiness gave Torah to His people Israel.

CHAPTER 14

1 And at that time Herod the Tetrarch heard the fame of Jesus:

2 and he said to his servants: This is John the Baptizer: he is risen from

the grave:

therefore works of power are done by him.

3 Now this Herod had seized John, and bound him

and cast him

into prison; on account

of Herodias, the wife of his brother Philip.

4 For John had said to him

: It is unlawful for her to be your wife.

5 And he had wished to murder him; but he was afraid of the people, seeing that they

regarded him

as a prophet.

6 But when Herod’s birthday festival occurred, the daughter of Herodias danced before

the guests; and she pleased Herod.

7 Therefore he swore to her by an oath, that he would give her whatever she might ask.

8 And she, as she had been instructed by her m

other, said: Give me here in a dish the

head of John the Baptizer.

9 And it troubled the king: nevertheless, on account of the oath, and the guests, he

commanded that it should be given to her.

10 And he sent and cut off the head of John in the prison.

11 And the head was brought in a dish and given to the girl; and she brought it to her

mother.

12 And his disciples came and took away the corpse, and buried it; and they went and

informed Jesus.

13 And Jesus, when he had heard this, retired alone, in a ship, to a desert place. And

when the multitudes heard of

this they followed him

by dry land from

the cities.

14 And when Jesus left, he saw great multitudes; and he had com

passion on them, and

healed their sick.

15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, and said to him

: This is a desert

place, and the time is gone; send away the throngs of people, that they may go to the

villages, and buy them

selves food.

16 But he said to them

: It is not necessary for them

to go; give you give them

food to

eat.

17 And they said to him: We have nothing here but five loaves and two fish.

18 Jesus said to them: Bring them

here to me.

19 And he commanded the multitudes to recline on the ground: and he took the five

loaves and two fish, and he looked towards heaven, and blessed them, and broke them,

and gave them

to his disciples; and the disciples placed them

before the multitudes.

20 And they all ate, and were satisfied: and they took up the broken remains, twelve full

baskets.

21 And the m

en who had eaten were five thousand, besides the women and children.

22 And immediately he insisted that his disciples to leave in a ship, and to go before him

to the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.

23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he ascended a mountain alone to pray.

And when it was dark, he was there alone.

24 And the ship was a great distant from

the lake it became tossed by the waves; for the

wind was against it.

25 And in the fourth watch of the night, Jesus came up to them

, walking upon the

waters.

26 And his disciples saw him

as he walked upon the waters, and they were frightened:

and they said, What we see is an apparition: and they cried out through fear.

27 But Jesus immediately spoke to them, and said: Have courage: it is I; do not be

afraid.

28 Peter replied, and said to him

: My Lord, if it is you, command me come to you on the

waters.

29 And Jesus said to him, Come. And Peter descended from

the ship, and walked upon

the waters to go to Jesus.

30 But when he saw the wind to be violent, he was afraid, and began to sink. And he

raised his voice, and said: My Lord, rescue me.

31 And immediately our Lord reached forth

his hand, and caught him, and said to him:

O small in faith, why did you distrust!

32 And as they entered the ship, the wind subsided.

33 And they that were in the ship, came and worshipped him, and said: Truly you are

the Son of God!

34 And they rowed on, and came to the land of Gennesaret.

35 And the men of that place knew him: and they sent to all the villages around them;

and they brought to him

all that were very sick;

36 and they implored him, that they might touch at least the edge of his garment. And

they who touched, were healed.

Chapter 4

1 Where is it, that there are among you fightings and broils ? Is it not from the lusts, which war in your members?

2 You covet, and possess not; and you kill, and envy, and effect nothing: and you fight and make attacks; and you have not, because you ask not.

3 You ask, and receive not; because you ask wickedly, that you may pamper your lusts.

4 You adulterers, know you not, that the love of the world is hostility towards Alaha ? He therefore who chooses to be a lover of this world, is the enemy of Alaha.

5 Or think you, that the scripture has vainly said: The spirit dwelling in us lusts with envy?

6 But Maran has given us more grace. Therefore he said: Alaha humbles the lofty, and gives grace to the lowly.

7 Subject yourselves therefore to Alaha; and stand firm against Satan, and he will flee from you.

8 Draw close to Alaha, and he will draw close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners: sanctify your hearts, you divided in mind.

9 Humble yourselves, and mourn: let your laughter be turned into mourning, and your joy into grief.

10 Humble yourselves before Mar-Yah, and he will exalt you.

11 Do not speak against each other, my brethren; for he that speaks against his brother, or judges his brother, speaks against Torah, and judges Torah. And if you judge Torah, you are not Torah observant, but its judge.

12 There is one Law-giver and Judge, who can make alive, and [can] destroy: but who are you, that you judge your neighbor ?

13 But what shall we say of those, who say: To-day or to-morrow we will go to such or such a city, and will abide there a year; and we will traffic, and get gain ?

14 And they know not what will be to-morrow: for what is our life, but an exhalation that is seen a little while, and then vanishes and is gone ?

15 Whereas they should say: If Mar-Yah please, and we live, we will do this or that.

16 They glory in their vaunting. All such glorying is evil.

17 He that knows the good, and does it not, to him is sin.

Ode 18

Ode Eighteen 1 I lifted up my arms on high on account of the compassion of the Lord.

2 Because He cast off my bonds from me, and my Helper lifted me up according to His compassion and His salvation.

3 And I put off darkness, and put on light.

4 And even I myself acquired members. In them there was no sickness or affliction or suffering.

5 And abundantly helpful to me was the thought of the Lord, and His everlasting fellowship.

6 And I was lifted up in the light, and I passed before Him.

7 And I was constantly near Him, while praising and confessing Him.

8 He caused my heart to overflow, and it was found in my mouth; and it sprang forth unto my lips.

After Torah Reading

Psalm 119:18

Happy are they who are upright in the way, who walk in the Torah of AdonYah. Happy are they who keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart. They do no unrighteousness; they walk in His way. You have ordained Your precepts, that we should observe them diligently. Oh that my ways were directed to observe Your statutes! Then I would not be ashamed, when I have given diligence unto all Your mitzvoth. I will give thanks unto You with uprightness of heart, when I learn Your righteous ordinances. I will observe Your statutes; do not utterly forsake me.

Lord Yeshua, you who were brought forth by the very hand of God the Father, made known to the Blessed Mother Maryam, by the message of the angel Gabriel — I praise you, I thank you and I honour you with all my heart. It was you who said, ‘I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me, shall not hunger; and he that believeth on me, shall never thirst.’ Grant unto the presence of the Spirit of holiness as you promised to your disciples, so that I may understand the Word of God and the Will of the Father for me. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Forehead:”May I have the mind of Mshikha”, Mouth:”May I speak pure words of Torah”, Heart:”and may my heart be sealed”, Right shoulder: “in the blood of the Lamb”& Left shoulder :” Amen. ” God is One.

Or

Forehead:”Mshikha in my mind.”, Mouth:”Torah in my mouth.”, Heart:”The blood of the Lamb in my heart.”, Right shoulder:”In Yeshua’s Name.” & Left Shoulder:”Amen.”In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

God is One.

May Mar Yah Bless You and Keep You.
