Before Torah Reading

Matthew 5:17-20

Do not think that I came to dismiss the Torah or the Prophets. I have not come to dismiss, but to carry out. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one smallest letter or one stroke shall pass away from the Torah, until everything happens. Therefore, anyone who dismisses one of these small mitzvoth (Commandments), and thus teach the sons of men to do so, will be called little in the Kingdom of Heaven; but those who do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

When Removing Torah From Ark

When the Ark set out, Mosha would say: Arise, O AdonYah, and Your adversaries will be scattered, and Your enemies will flee before You. For from Zion shall go forth the Torah, and the Word of AdonYah from Jerusalem. Blessed is He who in His holiness gave Torah to His people Israel.

Prayer when touched the Torah

The Torah which Moshe commanded us is the Heritage of the congregation of Ya’aqub. (Kiss the Torah)

THE BOOK OF MATTHEW

CHAPTER 4

1 Then Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit into the desert, to be tempted by the Accuser

2 And he fasted forty days and forty nights, and afterward he hungered.

3 And the Tempter came, and said to him: If you are the Son of God, command these

stones to become bread.

4 But he replied, and said: It is written, that not by bread only, does man live; but by

every word proceeding from

the mouth of God.

5 Then the Accuser took him

to the holy city, and set him

on a pinnacle of the temple,

6 and said to him: If you are the Son of

God, cast yourself down: for it is written, that he

will give his angels charge of you, and in their hands will they sustain you, in case you

strike you foot against a stone.

7 Jesus said to him: It is also written, that you shall not tempt the Lord Yahweh your

God.

8 Again the Accuser took him

to a mountain that was very high, and showed him

all the

kingdoms of the world, and their glory;

9 and said to him: All these will I give you, if you will fall down and worship me.

10 Then Jesus said to him: Be gone, Satan; for it is written, that you shall worship the

Lord Yahweh your God; and only him

shall you serve.

11 Then the Accuser left him: and behold, angels cam

e, and ministered to him.

12 And when Jesus had heard that John was delivered up, he retired to Galilee.

13 And he left Nazareth, and came and dwelt in Capernaum, by the side of the sea, on

the confines of Zebulon and Naphthali.

14 That so might be fulfilled that which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, who said:

15 The land of Zebulon, the land of Naphthali, the way of the sea, the ford of Jordan,

Galilee of the nations;

16 the people that sat in darkness, have seen great light; and to them

who sat in the

region and shadow of death, light is arisen.

17 From

that time began Jesus to proclaimand say: Repent; for the kingdom

of heaven

has approached.

18 And as he walked on the shore of the sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon

called Cephas, and Andrew his brother, who were casting nets into the sea; for they were

fishermen.

19 And Jesus said to them: Follow me; and I will cause you to become fishers of men.

20 And immediately, they left their nets, and went after him.

21 And as he passed on from

there, he saw two other brothers, James the son of

Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, who were m

ending

their nets. And Jesus called them.

22 And they immediately left the ship and their father, and went after him.

23 And Jesus traveled over all Galilee; and he taught in their synagogues and

proclaimed the tidings of the kingdom; and he cured every disease and malady among the

people.

24 And his fame spread through all Syria. And they brought to him

all them

that were

very sick with diverse diseases, and them

that were afflicted with pains, and demoniacs,

and mad and paralytics; and he healed them.

25 And there followed him

great multitudes from

Galilee, and from

the Ten Cities, and from

Jerusalem, and from

Judea, and from

beyond the Jordan.

THE BOOK OF JAMES

Chapter 4

1 Where is it, that there are among you fightings and broils ? Is it not from the lusts, which war in your members?

2 You covet, and possess not; and you kill, and envy, and effect nothing: and you fight and make attacks; and you have not, because you ask not.

3 You ask, and receive not; because you ask wickedly, that you may pamper your lusts.

4 You adulterers, know you not, that the love of the world is hostility towards Alaha ? He therefore who chooses to be a lover of this world, is the enemy of Alaha.

5 Or think you, that the scripture has vainly said: The spirit dwelling in us lusts with envy?

6 But Maran has given us more grace. Therefore he said: Alaha humbles the lofty, and gives grace to the lowly.

7 Subject yourselves therefore to Alaha; and stand firm against Satan, and he will flee from you.

8 Draw close to Alaha, and he will draw close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners: sanctify your hearts, you divided in mind.

9 Humble yourselves, and mourn: let your laughter be turned into mourning, and your joy into grief.

10 Humble yourselves before Mar-Yah, and he will exalt you.

11 Do not speak against each other, my brethren; for he that speaks against his brother, or judges his brother, speaks against Torah, and judges Torah. And if you judge Torah, you are not Torah observant, but its judge.

12 There is one Law-giver and Judge, who can make alive, and [can] destroy: but who are you, that you judge your neighbor ?

13 But what shall we say of those, who say: To-day or to-morrow we will go to such or such a city, and will abide there a year; and we will traffic, and get gain ?

14 And they know not what will be to-morrow: for what is our life, but an exhalation that is seen a little while, and then vanishes and is gone ?

15 Whereas they should say: If Mar-Yah please, and we live, we will do this or that.

16 They glory in their vaunting. All such glorying is evil.

17 He that knows the good, and does it not, to him is sin.

After Torah Reading

Psalm 119:18

Happy are they who are upright in the way, who walk in the Torah of AdonYah. Happy are they who keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart. They do no unrighteousness; they walk in His way. You have ordained Your precepts, that we should observe them diligently. Oh that my ways were directed to observe Your statutes! Then I would not be ashamed, when I have given diligence unto all Your mitzvoth. I will give thanks unto You with uprightness of heart, when I learn Your righteous ordinances. I will observe Your statutes; do not utterly forsake me.

Lord Yeshua, you who were brought forth by the very hand of God the Father, made known to the Blessed Mother Maryam, by the message of the angel Gabriel — I praise you, I thank you and I honour you with all my heart. It was you who said, ‘I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me, shall not hunger; and he that believeth on me, shall never thirst.’ Grant unto the presence of the Spirit of holiness as you promised to your disciples, so that I may understand the Word of God and the Will of the Father for me.

 Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Forehead:”May I have the mind of Mshikha”, Mouth:”May I speak pure words of Torah”, Heart:”and may my heart be sealed”, Right shoulder: “in the blood of the Lamb”& Left shoulder :” Amen. ” God is One.

Or

Forehead:”Mshikha in my mind.”, Mouth:”Torah in my mouth.”, Heart:”The blood of the Lamb in my heart.”, Right shoulder:”In Yeshua’s Name.” & Left Shoulder:”Amen.”In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. God is One.

Ch 4

My child, you shall remember the one who teaches you the Word of God, night and day, and shall honor him as the Lord;
for whenever and wherever the Word is spoken, there is the Lord.
Moreover, everyday you shall seek out the people who are walking as the saints, so that you may find rest in their words.
You shall not cause a schism, but you shall pacify them that contend;
you shall judge righteously, and you shall not be partial between people when reproving them for transgressing Torah [The Law of God].
