Before Torah Reading

Matthew 5:17-20

Do not think that I came to dismiss the Torah or the Prophets. I have not come to dismiss, but to carry out. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one smallest letter or one stroke shall pass away from the Torah, until everything happens. Therefore, anyone who dismisses one of these small mitzvoth (Commandments), and thus teach the sons of men to do so, will be called little in the Kingdom of Heaven; but those who do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

When Removing Torah From Ark

When the Ark set out, Mosha would say: Arise, O AdonYah, and Your adversaries will be scattered, and Your enemies will flee before You. For from Zion shall go forth the Torah, and the Word of AdonYah from Jerusalem. Blessed is He who in His holiness gave Torah to His people Israel.

Prayer when touched the Torah

The Torah which Moshe commanded us is the heritage of the congregation of Ya’aqub. {Kiss the Torah}

THE BOOK OF MATTHEW

CHAPTER 8

1 And as he descended from the mountain, great multitudes gathered around him.

2 And behold, a certain leper came and worshipped him, and said: My Lord, if you will,

you can make me clean.

3 And Jesus stretched forth his hand, touched him, and said: I will: be clean. And

immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

4 And Jesus said to him, See, that you tell no m

an: but go, show yourself to the priests,

and present an oblation as Moses instructed, for a testimony to them.

5 And when Jesus had entered into Capernaum, a certain centurion came to him, and

implored him,

6 and said: My Lord, my boy lies at home and is paralytic, and badly afflicted.

7 Jesus said to him, I will come and heal him.

8 The centurion replied, and said: My Lord, I am

not worthy that you should come

under my roof: but speak the word only, and my boy will be healed.

9 For I also am a man under authority, and there are soldiers under my hands, and I say

to this one, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my servant, Do

this thing, and he does this.

10 And when Jesus heard this, he admired it; and he said to those walking with him,

Truly I say to you, I have not found faith like this even in Israel.

11 And I say to you, that many shall come from

the east, and from

the west, and shall

recline with Abraham

and Isaac and Jacob, in the kingdom

of heaven;

12 but the children of the kingdom

shall be cast into the outer darkness. There will be

weeping and gnashing of teeth.

13 And Jesus said to the centurion. Go; it will be to you as you have believed. And his

boy was cured in that moment.

14 And Jesus came to the house of Sim

on and saw his wife’s mother prostrate, confined

by a fever.

15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose and ministered to

them.

16 And when it was evening, they brought many of the possessed before him; and he

expelled their demons by a word, and healed all them

that were diseased:

17 that so might be fulfilled that which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, who said: He

will bear our sorrows, and our infirmities he will take upon him.

18 And when Jesus saw great multitudes, around him, he ordered that they should go to

the other side.

19 And a Scribe came and said to him: Rabbi, I will follow you to the place where you

go.

20 Jesus said to him, For foxes there are holes, and for the birds of heaven there are

nests; but for the Son of man, there is nowhere he may rest his head.

21 And another of his disciples said to him

: My Lord, allow me first to go and bury my

father.

22 But Jesus said to him

: Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their dead.

23 And when Jesus entered the ship, his disciples got on board with him.

24 And behold, a great commotion arose in the sea, so that the vessel was covered by

the waves. But Jesus was asleep:

25 and his disciples came to awake him, and said to him

: Our Lord, deliver us; we are

perishing!

26 Jesus said to them, Why are you afraid, you small in faith! Then he arose, and

rebuked the wind and the sea; and there was great tranquility.

27 And the men were amazed; and they said, What a man this is, to whom

the winds and

the sea are obedient!

28 And when Jesus arrived at the farther shore, in the country of the Gadarenes, there

were two demoniacs who met him, who came out from

the cemetery, very furious, so that

no one could pass that way.

29 And they cried out, and said: W

hat have we to do with you?

Jesus, Son of God, have

you come here before the time to torment us?

30 And at a distance from

them

there was a herd of m

any swine feeding

31 And the demons implored him

, and said: If you cast us out, allow us to go into the

herd of swine.

32 And Jesus said to them

, Go. And immediately they came out, and entered into the

swine; and that whole herd ran straight to a cliff and plunged into the sea, and perished in

the waters.

33 And the herdsmen fled, and entered the city, and related all that had occurred, and

concerning the demoniacs.

34 And all the city cam

e out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they implored him

to leave from

their coasts.

After Torah Reading

Psalm 119:18

Happy are they who are upright in the way, who walk in the Torah of AdonYah. Happy are they who keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart. They do no unrighteousness; they walk in His way. You have ordained Your precepts, that we should observe them diligently. Oh that my ways were directed to observe Your statutes! Then I would not be ashamed, when I have given diligence unto all Your mitzvoth. I will give thanks unto You with uprightness of heart, when I learn Your righteous ordinances. I will observe Your statutes; do not utterly forsake me.

Lord Yeshua, you who were brought forth by the very hand of God the Father, made known to the Blessed Mother Maryam, by the message of the angel Gabriel — I praise you, I thank you and I honour you with all my heart. It was you who said, ‘I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me, shall not hunger; and he that believeth on me, shall never thirst.’ Grant unto the presence of the Spirit of holiness as you promised to your disciples, so that I may understand the Word of God and the Will of the Father for me. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Forehead:”May I have the mind of Mshikha”, Mouth:”May I speak pure words of Torah”, Heart:”and may my heart be sealed”, Right shoulder: “in the blood of the Lamb”& Left shoulder :” Amen. ” God is One.

Or Forehead:”Mshikha in my mind.”, Mouth:”Torah in my mouth.”, Heart:”The blood of the Lamb in my heart.”, Right shoulder:”In Yeshua’s Name.” & Left Shoulder:”Amen.”In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. God is One.

May Mar Yah Bless You and Keep You.
