Before Torah Reading

Matthew 5:17-20

Do not think that I came to dismiss the Torah or the Prophets. I have not come to dismiss, but to carry out. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one smallest letter or one stroke shall pass away from the Torah, until everything happens. Therefore, anyone who dismisses one of these small mitzvoth (Commandments), and thus teach the sons of men to do so, will be called little in the Kingdom of Heaven; but those who do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

When Removing Torah From Ark

When the Ark set out, Mosha would say: Arise, O AdonYah, and Your adversaries will be scattered, and Your enemies will flee before You. For from Zion shall go forth the Torah, and the Word of AdonYah from Jerusalem. Blessed is He who in His holiness gave Torah to His people Israel.

The Torah which Moshe commanded us is the heritage of congregation of Ya’aqub. (Kiss the Torah)

THE BOOK OF JAMES

Chapter 4

1 Where is it, that there are among you fightings and broils ? Is it not from the lusts, which war in your members?

2 You covet, and possess not; and you kill, and envy, and effect nothing: and you fight and make attacks; and you have not, because you ask not.

3 You ask, and receive not; because you ask wickedly, that you may pamper your lusts.

4 You adulterers, know you not, that the love of the world is hostility towards Alaha ? He therefore who chooses to be a lover of this world, is the enemy of Alaha.

5 Or think you, that the scripture has vainly said: The spirit dwelling in us lusts with envy?

6 But Maran has given us more grace. Therefore he said: Alaha humbles the lofty, and gives grace to the lowly.

7 Subject yourselves therefore to Alaha; and stand firm against Satan, and he will flee from you.

8 Draw close to Alaha, and he will draw close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners: sanctify your hearts, you divided in mind.

9 Humble yourselves, and mourn: let your laughter be turned into mourning, and your joy into grief.

10 Humble yourselves before Mar-Yah, and he will exalt you.

11 Do not speak against each other, my brethren; for he that speaks against his brother, or judges his brother, speaks against Torah, and judges Torah. And if you judge Torah, you are not Torah observant, but its judge.

12 There is one Law-giver and Judge, who can make alive, and [can] destroy: but who are you, that you judge your neighbor ?

13 But what shall we say of those, who say: To-day or to-morrow we will go to such or such a city, and will abide there a year; and we will traffic, and get gain ?

14 And they know not what will be to-morrow: for what is our life, but an exhalation that is seen a little while, and then vanishes and is gone ?

15 Whereas they should say: If Mar-Yah please, and we live, we will do this or that.

16 They glory in their vaunting. All such glorying is evil.

17 He that knows the good, and does it not, to him is sin.

Syriac Peshitto James 4 Authorized use by +Mar Eshwan, Bishop

Gospel of Thomas v. 80-9

80) Jesus said, “He who has recognized the world has found the
body, but he who has found the body is superior to the world.”

81) Jesus said, “Let him who has grown rich be king, and let him
who possesses power renounce it.”

82) Jesus said, “He who is near Me is near the fire, and he who
is far from Me is far from the Kingdom.”

83) Jesus said, “The images are manifest to man, but the light
in them remains concealed in the image of the light of the
Father. He will become manifest, but his image will remain
concealed by his light.”

84) Jesus said, “When you see your likeness, you rejoice. But
when you see your images which came into being before you, and
which neither die not become manifest, how much you will have to
bear!”

85) Jesus said, “Adam came into being from a great power and a
great wealth, but he did not become worthy of you. For had he
been worthy, [he would] not [have experienced] death.”

86) Jesus said, “[The foxes have their holes] and the birds have
[their] nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head
and rest.”

87) Jesus said, “Wretched is the body that is dependant upon a
body, and wretched is the soul that is dependent on these two.”

88) Jesus said, “The angels and the prophets will come to you
and give you those things you (already) have. And you too, give
them those things which you have, and say to yourselves, ‘When
will they come and take what is theirs?'”

89) Jesus said, “Why do you wash the outside of the cup? Do you
not realize that he who made he inside is the same one who made
the outside?”

Ode 29

Ode Twenty Nine 1 There is no hard way where there is a simple heart, nor barrier for upright thoughts,

2 Nor whirlwind in the depth of the enlightened thought.

3 Where one is surrounded on every side by pleasing country, there is nothing divided in him.

4 The likeness of that which is below is that which is above.

5 For everything is from above, and from below there is nothing, but it is believed to be by those in whom there is no understanding.

6 Grace has been revealed for your salvation. Believe and live and be saved. Halleluyah.

After Torah Reading

Psalm 119:18

Happy are they who are upright in the way, who walk in the Torah of AdonYah. Happy are they who keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart. They do no unrighteousness; they walk in His way. You have ordained Your precepts, that we should observe them diligently. Oh that my ways were directed to observe Your statutes! Then I would not be ashamed, when I have given diligence unto all Your mitzvoth. I will give thanks unto You with uprightness of heart, when I learn Your righteous ordinances. I will observe Your statutes; do not utterly forsake me.

Lord Yeshua, you who were brought forth by the very hand of God the Father, made known to the Blessed Mother Maryam, by the message of the angel Gabriel — I praise you, I thank you and I honour you with all my heart. It was you who said, ‘I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me, shall not hunger; and he that believeth on me, shall never thirst.’ Grant unto the presence of the Spirit of holiness as you promised to your disciples, so that I may understand the Word of God and the Will of the Father for me. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Forehead:”May I have the mind of Mshikha”, Mouth:”May I speak pure words of Torah”, Heart:”and may my heart be sealed”, Right shoulder: “in the blood of the Lamb”& Left shoulder :” Amen. ” God is One.
