We are also to read the Giliana Kudsha and Mir Izgadda’s teachings as well.

Before Torah Reading

Matthew 5:17-20

Do not think that I came to dismiss the Torah or the Prophets. I have not come to dismiss, but to carry out. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one smallest letter or one stroke shall pass away from the Torah, until everything happens. Therefore, anyone who dismisses one of these small mitzvoth (Commandments), and thus teach the sons of men to do so, will be called little in the Kingdom of Heaven; but those who do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

When Removing Torah From Ark

When the Ark set out, Mosha would say: Arise, O AdonYah, and Your adversaries will be scattered, and Your enemies will flee before You. For from Zion shall go forth the Torah, and the Word of AdonYah from Jerusalem. Blessed is He who in His holiness gave Torah to His people Israel.

The Torah which Moshe commanded us is the heritage of congregation of Ya’aqub. (Kiss the Torah)

THE BOOK OF MATTHEW

CHAPTER 26

1 And it came to pass, when Jesus had concluded all these discourses, that he said to his

disciples:

2 You know that after two days is the Passover; and the Son of man is betrayed to be

crucified.

3 Then the chief priests and the Scribes and the Elders of the people assembled, at the

hall of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas.

4 And they held a counsel against Jesus, that they might take him

by guile, and murder

him.

5 But they said: Not on the festival, in case there is a com

motion among the people.

6 And when Jesus was at Bethany, in the house of Simon the potter,

7 a woman came to him

having a vase of aromatic ointment very precious, and she

poured it on the head of Jesus as he was reclining.

8 And when his disciples saw this they were displeased, and said: Why is this waste?

9 For this might have been sold for much, and have been given to the poor.

10 But Jesus knew their frustration, and said to them: Why do you trouble the woman?

She has performed a good deed towards me.

11 For you have the poor with you at all times; but I am

not with you always

12 And this her act, pouring the ointment on my body, she has done as it were for my

burial.

Syriac Peshitto Matthew ch 26 Authorized use by +Mar Eshwan, Bishop

Gospel of Thomas, v 11-19

11) Jesus said, “This heaven will pass away, and the one above
it will pass away. The dead are not alive, and the living will
not die. In the days when you consumed what is dead, you made it
what is alive. When you come to dwell in the light, what will you
do? On the day when you were one you became two. But when you
become two, what will you do?”

12) The disciples said to Jesus, “We know that You will depart
from us. Who is to be our leader?”
Jesus said to them, “Wherever you are, you are to go to
James the righteous, for whose sake heaven and earth came into
being.”

13) Jesus said to His disciples, “Compare me to someone and tell
Me whom I am like.”
Simon Peter said to Him, “You are like a righteous angel.”
Matthew said to Him, “You are like a wise philosopher.”
Thomas said to Him, “Master, my mouth is wholly incapable of
saying whom You are like.”
Jesus said, “I am not your master. Because you have drunk,
you have become intoxicated by the bubbling spring which I have
measured out.”
And He took him and withdrew and told him three things. When
Thomas returned to his companions, they asked him, “What did
Jesus say to you?”
Thomas said to them, “If I tell you one of the things which
he told me, you will pick up stones and throw them at me; a fire
will come out of the stones and burn you up.”

14) Jesus said to them, “If you fast, you will give rise to sin
for yourselves; and if you pray, you will be condemned; and if
you give alms, you will do harm to your spirits. When you go into
any land and walk about in the districts, if they receive you,
eat what they will set before you, and heal the sick among them.
For what goes into your mouth will not defile you, but that which
issues from your mouth – it is that which will defile you.”

15) Jesus said, “When you see one who was not born of woman,
prostrate yourselves on your faces and worship him. That one is
your Father.”

16) Jesus said, “Men think, perhaps, that it is peace which I
have come to cast upon the world. They do not know that it is
dissension which I have come to cast upon the earth: fire, sword,
and war. For there will be five in a house: three will be against
two, and two against three, the father against the son, and the
son against the father. And they will stand solitary.”

17) Jesus said, “I shall give you what no eye has seen and what
no ear has heard and what no hand has touched and what has never
occurred to the human mind.”

18) The disciples said to Jesus, “Tell us how our end will be.”
Jesus said, “Have you discovered, then, the beginning, that
you look for the end? For where the beginning is, there will the
end be. Blessed is he who will take his place in the beginning;
he will know the end and will not experience death.”

19) Jesus said, “Blessed is he who came into being before he
came into being. If you become My disciples and listen to My
words, these stones will minister to you. For there are five
trees for you in Paradise which remain undisturbed summer and
winter and whose leaves do not fall. Whoever becomes acquainted
with them will not experience death.”

Ode 22

Ode Twenty Two 1 I was rescued from my chains, and I fled unto You, O my God.

2 Because You are the right hand of salvation, and my Helper.

3 You have restrained those who rise up against me, and no more were they seen.

4 Because Your face was with me, which saved me by Your grace.

5 But I was despised and rejected in the eyes of many, and I was in their eyes like lead.

6 And I acquired strength from You, and help.

7 A lamp You set for me both on my right and on my left, so that there might not be in me anything that is not light.

8 And I was covered with the covering of Your Spirit, and I removed from me my garments of skin.

9 Because Your right hand exalted me, and caused sickness to pass from me.

10 And I became mighty in Your truth, and holy in Your righteousness.

11 And all my adversaries were afraid of me, and I became the Lord’s by the name of the Lord.

12 And I was justified by His kindness, and His rest is for ever and ever. Halleluyah.

After Torah Reading

Psalm 119:18

Happy are they who are upright in the way, who walk in the Torah of AdonYah. Happy are they who keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart. They do no unrighteousness; they walk in His way. You have ordained Your precepts, that we should observe them diligently. Oh that my ways were directed to observe Your statutes! Then I would not be ashamed, when I have given diligence unto all Your mitzvoth. I will give thanks unto You with uprightness of heart, when I learn Your righteous ordinances. I will observe Your statutes; do not utterly forsake me.

Lord Yeshua, you who were brought forth by the very hand of God the Father, made known to the Blessed Mother Maryam, by the message of the angel Gabriel — I praise you, I thank you and I honour you with all my heart. It was you who said, ‘I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me, shall not hunger; and he that believeth on me, shall never thirst.’ Grant unto the presence of the Spirit of holiness as you promised to your disciples, so that I may understand the Word of God and the Will of the Father for me. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Forehead:”May I have the mind of Mshikha”, Mouth:”May I speak pure words of Torah”, Heart:”and may my heart be sealed”, Right shoulder: “in the blood of the Lamb”& Left shoulder :” Amen. ” God is One.

Or

Forehead:”Mshikha in my mind.”, Mouth:”Torah in my mouth.”, Heart:”The blood of the Lamb in my heart.”, Right shoulder:”In Yeshua’s Name.” & Left Shoulder:”Amen.”In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. God is One.

May Mar Yah Bless You and Keep You.
