Before Torah Reading
Matthew 5:17-20
Do not think that I came to dismiss the Torah or the Prophets. I have not come to dismiss, but to carry out. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one smallest letter or one stroke shall pass away from the Torah, until everything happens. Therefore, anyone who dismisses one of these small mitzvoth (Commandments), and thus teach the sons of men to do so, will be called little in the Kingdom of Heaven; but those who do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
When Removing Torah From Ark
When the Ark set out, Mosha would say: Arise, O AdonYah, and Your adversaries will be scattered, and Your enemies will flee before You. For from Zion shall go forth the Torah, and the Word of AdonYah from Jerusalem. Blessed is He who in His holiness gave Torah to His people Israel.
The Torah which Moshe commanded us is the heritage of congregation of Ya’aqub. (Kiss the Torah)
THE BOOK OF MATTHEW
CHAPTER 21
1 And as he approached Jerusalem, and came to Bethphage, by the side of the mount of
Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples;
2 and said to them: Go into this village which is over against you, and directly you will
find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them
and bring them
to me.
3 And if anyone says anything to you, tell him, That they are needed by our Lord: and
at once he will send them here.
4 Now this whole occurrence was, that so might be fulfilled that which was spoken by
the prophet, saying:
5 Tell the daughter of Sion, Behold, your king comes to you, meek, and riding on a
donkey, and on a colt the foal of a donkey.
6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them.
7 And they brought the donkey and the colt. And they placed their garments on the colt,
and set Jesus upon it.
8 And a very great crowd threw their clothes in the path; and others cut branches from
the trees, and cast them
in the path.
9 And the multitudes that went in front of him, and that followed after him, shouted and
said: Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord
Yahweh: Hosanna in the highest.
10 And as he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was in commotion; and they said, Who
is this?
11 And the multitudes said, This is Jesus the prophet, who is from
Nazareth of Galilee.
12 And Jesus entered into the Temple of God, and expelled all them
that bought and
sold in the temple, and overset the counters of the money-brokers, and the seats of them
that sold doves.
13 And he said to them: It is written, my house shall be called the house of prayer; but
you have made it a den of robbers.
14 And there came to him
in the temple the blind and the lame; and he healed them.
15 And when the chief priests and Pharisees saw the wonderful things which he
performed, and the children shouting in the temple and saying, Hosanna to the son of
David, they were angry.
16 And they said to him: Do you hear what they are saying?
Jesus said to them: Yes.
Have you never read, Out of the mouth of children and infants you have acquired praise?
17 And he left them, and retired out of the city to Bethany, and lodged there.
7 And he left them, and retired out of the city to Bethany, and lodged there.
18 And in the morning, when he returned to the city, he was hungry.
19 And he saw a fig-tree by the way, and came to it and found nothing on it, except
leaves only. And he said to it: No more shall there be fruit on you for ever. And
immediately the fig tree withered.
20 And the disciples saw this, and admired, and said: How suddenly hats the fig tree
withered!
21 Jesus replied and said to them: Truly I say to you, That if there is faith in you, and
you shall not doubt, you may not only do this thing of the fig tree, but also if you shall
say to this mountain, be lifted up, and fall into the sea, it will be so.
22 And what ever you shall ask in prayer, and shall believe, you shall receive.
23 And when Jesus came to the temple, the chief priests and the Elders of the people
came to him
as he was teaching, and said to him: By what authority do you do these
things?
And who gave you this authority?
24 Jesus replied and said to them: I also will ask you one question, and if you will tell
me, I also will tell you by what authority I do these things.
25 The baptism
of John, from
where was it?
From
heaven, or from
men? And they
reasoned among them
selves, and said: If we should say, From
heaven; he will say to us,
Why did you not believe in him?
26 And if we should say, From
men; we are afraid of the multitude, for they all hold
John as a prophet.
27 And they answered, and said to him: We do not know. Jesus said to them: Neither do
I tell you by what authority I do these things.
28 But how does it appear to you?
A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first
and said to him, My son, go, labor today in the vineyard.
29 And he answered and said, I am
not willing. But afterwards he repented and went.
30 And he cam
e to the other, and said the same to him. And he answered and said: I go,
my lord, but did not go.
31 Which of these two perform
ed the pleasure of his father?
They said to him, The first.
Jesus said to them: Truly I say to you That publicans and harlots go before you into the
Kingdom
of God.
32 For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him; but
the publicans and harlots believed him: and you, after you had seen this, did not even
then repent and believe in him.
33 Hear another parable. A certain man, the lord of a house, planted a vineyard, and
enclosed it with a hedge, and dug a winepress in it, and built a tower in it, and leased it to
cultivators, and left for travel.
34 And when the time f
or the fruits arrived, he sent his servants to the cultivators that
they might remit to him
of the fruits of the vineyard.
35 And the cultivators laid hold of
his servants, and beat one, and stoned another and
one they murdered.
36 And again he sent other servants, m
ore numerous than the first; and they did the
same to them.
37 And at last he sent to them
his son: for he said, Perhaps they will respect my son.
38 But the cultivators, when they saw the son, said among themselves: This is the heir:
Come; let us murder him, and retain his inheritance.
39 And they laid hold of him, thrust him
out of the vineyard, and murdered him.
40 When the lord of
the vineyard, therefore, shall com
e; what will he do to those
cultivators?
41 They said to him: He will utterly destroy them; and will lease the vineyard to other
cultivators, who will render him
the fruits in their seasons.
42 Jesus said to them: Have you never read in the scripture, The stone which the
builders rejected, has become the head of the corner: this is from
the Lord Yahweh; and it
is marvelous in our eyes?
43 Therefore I say to you, That the Kingdom
of God shall be taken from
you, and shall
be given to a people that will yield fruits.
44 And whoever shall fall upon this stone, will be fractured; but on who ever it shall fall
upon it will crush?
45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they understood
that he spoke in reference to them.
46 And they sought to apprehend him, but were afraid of the multitude, because they
accounted him
as a prophet.

CHAPTER 22
1 And Jesus answered again by parables, and said:
2 The kingdom
of heaven is like to a royal person, who made a feast for his son.
3 And he sent his servants to call those that had been invited, to the feast: and they
would not come.
4 And again he sent other servants, and said: Tell those invited, Behold, my
entertainment is prepared, my oxen and my fatlings are slain, and every thing is prepared;
come to the feast.
5 But they showed contempt, and went away, one to his farm, and another to his
merchandise;
6 and the rest seized his servants, and abused them, and murdered them.
7 And when the king heard this, he was angry; and he sent his military forces, and
destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.
8 Then said he to his servants, The feast is prepared, but they who were invited were
unworthy.
9 Go therefore to the main streets; and as many as you find, call to the feast.
10 And those servants went out into the streets, and collected all they found, both bad
and good; and the place of feasting was filled with guests.
11 And the king went in to see the guests: and he saw there a man who was not clothed
in the festal garments.
12 And he said to him: My friend, how did you come here without the festal robes?
But
he was silent.
13 Then the king said to the servants: Bind his hands and his feet, and cast him
into the
outer darkness: there will be weeping and gnashing of
teeth.
14 For the called are many, and the chosen are few.
15 Then the Pharisees went and took counsel, as to how they might ensnare him
in a
question.
16 And they sent their disciples to him, with domestics of Herod, and said to him:
Teacher, we know that you are true, and teach the Way of God with truth, regardless of
man, for you have no respect of persons.
17 Tell us, therefore, how does it appear to you: is it lawful to pay head money to
Caesar, or not?
18 But Jesus knew their wickedness, and said: Why do you tempt me, you hypocrites?
19 Show me a denarius of the head money. And they brought to him
a denarius.
20 And Jesus said to them: Whose is this image and inscription?
21 They say, Caesar’s. He said to them: Give then Caesar’s things to Caesar, and God’s
things to God.
22 And when they heard this they were surprised: and they left him, and went away.
23 The same day the Sadducees came and said to him: There is no life of the dead. And
they questioned him,
24 and said to him: Teacher; Moses commanded us, that if a man should die childless,
his brother must take his wife and raise up seed to his brother.
25 Now there were with us seven brothers. The first took a wife, and deceased; and, as
he had no children, he left his wife to his brother.
26 In like manner also the second, and the third, and up to the whole seven.
27 And after them
all, the woman also herself died.

5 I will open my mouth, and His Spirit will speak through me the glory of the Lord and His beauty,
6 The work of His hands, and the labour of His fingers;
7 For the multitude of His mercies, and the strength of His Word.
8 For the Word of the Lord investigates that which is invisible, and reveals His thought.
9 For the eye sees His works, and the ear hears His thought.
10 It is He who made the earth broad, and placed the waters in the sea.
11 He expanded the heaven, and fixed the stars.
12 And He fixed the creation and set it up, then He rested from His works.
13 And created things run according to their courses, and work their works, for they can never cease nor fail.
14 And the hosts are subject to His Word.
15 The reservoir of light is the sun, and the reservoir of darkness is the night.
16 For He made the sun for the day so that it will be light; but night brings darkness over the face of the earth.
17 And by their portion one from another they complete the beauty of God.
18 And there is nothing outside of the Lord, because He was before anything came to be. .
19 And the worlds are by His Word, and by the thought of His heart. Praise and honour to His name. Halleluyah.

Psalm 119:18
Happy are they who are upright in the way, who walk in the Torah of AdonYah. Happy are they who keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart. They do no unrighteousness; they walk in His way. You have ordained Your precepts, that we should observe them diligently. Oh that my ways were directed to observe Your statutes! Then I would not be ashamed, when I have given diligence unto all Your mitzvoth. I will give thanks unto You with uprightness of heart, when I learn Your righteous ordinances. I will observe Your statutes; do not utterly forsake me.
Lord Yeshua, you who were brought forth by the very hand of God the Father, made known to the Blessed Mother Maryam, by the message of the angel Gabriel — I praise you, I thank you and I honour you with all my heart. It was you who said, ‘I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me, shall not hunger; and he that believeth on me, shall never thirst.’ Grant unto the presence of the Spirit of holiness as you promised to your disciples, so that I may understand the Word of God and the Will of the Father for me. Amen.
