Before Torah Reading

Matthew 5:17-20

Do not think that I came to dismiss the Torah or the Prophets. I have not come to dismiss, but to carry out. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one smallest letter or one stroke shall pass away from the Torah, until everything happens. Therefore, anyone who dismisses one of these small mitzvoth (Commandments), and thus teach the sons of men to do so, will be called little in the Kingdom of Heaven; but those who do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

When Removing Torah From Ark

When the Ark set out, Mosha would say: Arise, O AdonYah, and Your adversaries will be scattered, and Your enemies will flee before You. For from Zion shall go forth the Torah, and the Word of AdonYah from Jerusalem. Blessed is He who in His holiness gave Torah to His people Israel.

Prayer when touched the Torah

The Torah which Moshe commanded us is the heritage of the congregation of Ya’aqub. {Kiss the Torah}

THE BOOK OF MATTHEW

CHAPTER 5

1 And when Jesus saw the multitudes, he ascended a hill; and when he was seated, his

disciples drew near him:

2 and he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying:

3 Blessed are the poor in spirit for the kingdom

of heaven is theirs!

4 Blessed are the mourners: for they shall be comforted!

5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth!

6 Blessed are they that hunger and thirst for righteousness: for they shall be satisfied!

7 Blessed are the merciful: for on them

shall be mercies!

8 Blessed are the clean in heart: for they shall behold God!

9 Blessed are the cultivators of peace: for they shall be called sons of God!

10 Blessed are they that are persecuted on account of righteousness: for the kingdom

of

heaven is theirs!

11 Blessed are you, when they revile you and persecute you, and speak every evil thing

against you, falsely, on my account.

12 At that time, rejoice and be glad: for your reward in heaven is great. For so they

persecuted the prophets that were before you.

13 You are the salt of the earth! But if the salt become bland, with what shall it be

seasoned?

It is fit for nothing; but to be thrown out, and be trodden under foot by men.

14 You are the light of the world! A city built upon a hill can not be concealed.

15 And they do not light a lamp and place it under a bushel; but upon a light stand, and

it gives light to all that are in the house.

16 Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and may glorify

your Father who is in heaven.

17 Do not suppose that I have come to destroy the Law or the Prophets: I have come not

to destroy, but to fulfill.

18 For truly I say to you, that until heaven and earth shall pass away, one iota or one

letter shall not pass from

the Law, until all shall be fulfilled.

19 Therefore whoever shall break one of these small commands and teaches the

children of men to do the same, shall be called little in the kingdom

of heaven: but every

one that shall do and teach them, shall be called great in the kingdom

of heaven.

20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness shall abound more than that of the

Scribes and Pharisees, you shall not enter into the kingdom

of heaven.

21 You have heard that it was said to the ancients, You shall not murder: and every one

that murders, is loathsome to judgment.

22 But I say to you, That every one who is angry with his brother rashly, is loathsome to judgment: and every one that says to his brother, Raka! is loathsome to the council: and

every one that shall say, Fool is loathsome to the fire of Gehenna.

23 If therefore you shall bring your oblation to the altar, and shall there remember that

your brother has any offence against you,

24 leave there your oblation before the altar, and go first and be reconciled with your

brother; and then come and present your oblation.

25 Be at agreement with your prosecutor, without delay, and while on the way with him;

in case the prosecutor delivers you up to the judge, and the judge delivers you over to the

sheriff, and you fall into the house of prisoners.

26 Truly I say to you, You will not come out from

there until you have paid the last

coin.

27 You have heard that it has been said, You shall not commit adultery.

28 But I say to you, That whoever gazes on a woman with lust, at once commits

adultery with her in his heart.

29 If therefore your right eye makes you to cause offense, pluck it out, and cast it from

you; because it is better for you that your one m

ember perish, than that your whole body

should fall into Gehenna.

30 And if your right hand makes to cause offense, cut it off, and cast it from

you;

because it is better for you that one of your members perish, than that your whole body

fall into Gehenna.

31 It has been said, That if

a man will put away his wife, he must give her a certificate

of divorce.

32 But I say to you, That whoever putts away his wife, except for the offence of

whoredom, causes her to commit adultery: and he that takes the divorced woman,

commits adultery.

33 Again, you have heard that it has been said to the ancients, You shall not be false in

your oaths; but you shall perform

your oaths to the Lord Yahweh.

34 But I say to you, Do not swear at all: not by heaven, for it is the throne of God:

35 and not by the earth, for it is the footstool under his feet: and likewise not by

Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great king.

36 Furthermore, you shall not swear by your head, for you can not make one hair in it

either black or white.

37 But let your word, Yes, be yes; or No, be no; for whatever is beyond these proceeds

from

evil.

38 You have heard that it has been said: An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.

39 But I say to you: Resist not evil; but if a person strikes you on your right cheek, turn

to him

the other also.

40 And if one is disposed to sue you and take away your coat, surrender to him

also

your cloak.

41 Whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him

two.

42 Whoever demands of you, give to him: and whoever wishes to borrow of you, do not

deny him.

43 You have heard that it has been said: You shall love your neighbor, and hate your

enemy.

44 But I say to you: Love your enemies; and bless him

that curses you; and do good to

him

that hates you; and pray for them

that lead you in bonds, and that persecute you:

45 that you may be the children of your Father that is in heaven, who causes his sun to

rise upon the good and upon the bad, and sends his rain upon the righteous and upon the

unrighteous.

46 For, if you love only them

that love you, what reward have you?

Do not even the

publicans do this?

47 And if you salute only your brethren, what more are you doing?

Do not even

publicans do this?

48 Therefore be perfect; even as your Father who is in heaven is perfect.

THE BOOK OF JAMES

Chapter 5

1 O you rich ones, wail and weep, on account of the miseries that are coming upon you.

2 For your wealth is spoiled and putrid; and your garments are moth-eaten:

3 and your gold and your silver have contracted rust; and the rust of them will be testimony against you; and it will eat your flesh. You have heaped up a fire to you against the latter days.

4 Behold, the wages of the laborers who have reaped your ground, which you have wrongfully retained, cries out; and the clamor of the reapers has entered the ears of Mar-Yah of Sabaoth.

5 For you have lived in pleasure on the earth, and revelled, and feasted your bodies as in a day of slaughter.

6 You have condemned and slain the just, and none resisted you.

7 But, my brethren, be you patient until the advent of Mar-Yah; like the husbandman, who waits for the precious fruits of his ground, and is patient as to them, until he receive the early and the latter rain.

8 So also be you patient, and fortify your hearts; for the advent of Maran draws nigh

9 Be not querulous one against another, my brethren, lest you be judged: for lo, the judgment , stands before the door.

10 For patience in your afflictions, my brethren, take to you the example of the prophets, who spoke in the Name of Mar-Yah.

11 For lo, we ascribe blessedness to them who have borne suffering. You have heard of the patience of Job; and you have seen the result which Mar-Yah wrought for him: for Mar-Yah is merciful and compassionate.

12 But above all things, my brethren, swear you not; neither by heaven, nor by the earth, nor by any other oath: but let your language be yes, yes, and no, no, lest you become obnoxious to judgment.

13 And if any of you shall be in affliction, let him pray; or if he be joyous, let him sing psalms.

14 And if one is sick, let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray for him, and anoint him with oil in the name of Maran:

15 and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and Maran will raise him up; and if sins have been committed by him, they will be forgiven him.

16 And confess you your faults one to another, and pray you one for another, that you may be healed; for great is the efficacy of the prayer which a righteous man prays.

17 Eliyahu also was a man of sensations like us, and he prayed that rain might not descend upon the earth; and it descended not, for three years and six

18 And again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth gave forth its fruits.

19 My brethren, if one of you err from the way of truth, and any one convert him from his error;

20 let him know, that he who turns the sinner from the error of his way, will resuscitate his soul from death, and will cover the multitude of his sins.

After Torah Reading

Psalm 119:18

Happy are they who are upright in the way, who walk in the Torah of AdonYah. Happy are they who keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart. They do no unrighteousness; they walk in His way. You have ordained Your precepts, that we should observe them diligently. Oh that my ways were directed to observe Your statutes! Then I would not be ashamed, when I have given diligence unto all Your mitzvoth. I will give thanks unto You with uprightness of heart, when I learn Your righteous ordinances. I will observe Your statutes; do not utterly forsake me.

Lord Yeshua, you who were brought forth by the very hand of God the Father, made known to the Blessed Mother Maryam, by the message of the angel Gabriel — I praise you, I thank you and I honour you with all my heart. It was you who said, ‘I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me, shall not hunger; and he that believeth on me, shall never thirst.’ Grant unto the presence of the Spirit of holiness as you promised to your disciples, so that I may understand the Word of God and the Will of the Father for me. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Forehead:”May I have the mind of Mshikha”, Mouth:”May I speak pure words of Torah”, Heart:”and may my heart be sealed”, Right shoulder: “in the blood of the Lamb”& Left shoulder :” Amen. ” God is One.

Or

Forehead:”Mshikha in my mind.”, Mouth:”Torah in my mouth.”, Heart:”The blood of the Lamb in my heart.”, Right shoulder:”In Yeshua’s Name.” & Left Shoulder:”Amen.”In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. God is One.

May Mar Yah Bless You and Keep You. 🙂
