Matthew 1
This is the book of the genealogy of Yeshua Mshikha* Bar David Bar Avraham. 2 Avraham fathered Yitzchak. Yitzchak fathered Ya’aqub. Ya’aqub fathered Yudah and his brothers. 3 Yudah fathered Perez and Zerach by Tamar. Perez fathered Chezron. Chezron fathered Ram. 4 Ram fathered Amminadab. Amminadab fathered Nachshon. Nachshon fathered Salmon. 5 Salmon fathered Bo’az by Rahab. Bo’az fathered Oved by Rut. Oved fathered Ishai. 6 Ishai fathered David the king. David fathered Shlomo by the wife of Uri’ya. 7 Shlomo fathered Rehoboam. Rehoboam fathered Avi’ya. Avi’ya fathered Asa. 8 Asa fathered Yehoshaphat. Yehoshaphat fathered Yoram. Yoram fathered Uzi’yahu.

9 Uzi’yahu fathered Yotam. Yotam fathered Achaz. Achaz fathered Chezeki’ya. 10 Chezeki’ya fathered Menasha. Manasha fathered Amon. Amon fathered Yoshi’ya. 11 Yoshi’ya fathered Yechani’ya and his brothers, during the captivity of Babylon*.

12 After the captivity to Babylon, Yechani’ya fathered Shealtiel. Shealtiel fathered Zerubavel. 13 Zerubavel fathered Avichud. Avichud fathered Eliakim. Eliakim fathered Azor. 14 Azor fathered Zadok. Zadok fathered Achim. Achim fathered Eliud. 15 Eliud fathered Eleazar. Eleazar fathered Mattan. Mattan fathered Ya’aqub. 16 Ya’aqub fathered Yoseph, the relative of Miriam, from whom was born Yeshua*, who is called the Anointed. 17 Therefore all the generations from Avraham to David were fourteen generations; and from David to the captivity of Babylon were fourteen generations; and from the captivity to Babylon to the Mshikha were fourteen generations.

18 Now the birth of Yeshua the Messiah was like this; while his mother, Miriam, was engaged to Yoseph, before they came together, she was found to be pregnant by the Holy Spirit*. 19 Yoseph, her lord, being just, and not desiring to expose her, secretly thought about dismissing her. 20 While he was thinking on these things, an angel of Mar-Yah* appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Yoseph, son of David, do not have fear to take Miriam as your wife, for he that is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She shall bear a son and she shall call his name Yeshua, for he shall save his people from their sins.”

22 Now all this has happened, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Mar-Yah through the prophet, saying, 23 “Behold, a virgin will conceive, and give birth to a son. And they will call his name Immanuel;” which is interpreted, “Our God with us.”* 24 Yoseph arose from his sleep, and did as the angel of Mar-Yah commanded him, and took his wife; 25 and did not know her [in a conjugal manner] until she had given birth to her firstborn son. And she called his name Yeshua.

James 1
1 Ya’aqub, a servant of Alaha, Maran Yeshua Mshikha, to the twelve tribes scattered among the goyim. Shalom!

2 Let it be a joy to you, my brethren, when you enter into many and various trials. 3 For you know the trial of faith makes you increase patience. 4 And let patience have its perfect work, so that you may be complete and perfect, and may lack in nothing.

5 And if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of Alaha who gives to all freely and with love, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, without hesitating; for he who hesitates is like the waves of the sea, which the wind tosses around. 7 And such a man should not expect to receive any thing of Mar-Yah, 8 who is hesitating in his mind, and unstable in all of his ways.

9 And let the humble brother rejoice because he is exalted; 10 and the rich, in his humbleness because, like the flower of the grass, he passes away. 11 For the sun rises in its heat, and dries up the grass; and its flower falls, and the beauty of its appearance perishes; it is the same with the rich man because he withers in his ways.

12 Blessed is the man who endures trials so that when he is proved he may receive a crown of life, which Alaha has promised to those who love him. 13 Let no one when he is tempted, say, ‘I am tempted by Alaha’; for Alaha is not tempted with evils, nor does he tempt anyone. 14 But every man is tempted by his own lust, and he desires and is enticed. 15 And this lust conceives, and brings forth sin; and sin, when mature, brings forth death.

16 Do not err, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good and perfect gift comes down from above, from the Father of lights, with whom there is no change, not even a shadow of variation. 18 By his own will he fathered us by the word of truth so that we might be the first-fruits of his creatures.

19 My beloved brethren, every one of you be quick to hear and slow to speak and slow to anger; 20 for the wrath of man does not bring the righteousness of Alaha. 21 Therefore, remove yourself from all impurity and the abundance of wickedness; and, with meekness, receive the word that is firmly planted in our nature, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if any man shall be a hearer of the word, and not a doer of it, he will be like one who sees his face in a mirror; 24 for he sees himself, and passes on, and forgets what his appearance was. 25 But all who look upon the perfect law of liberty and abides in it, is not a hearer of something to be forgotten, but a doer of the things; such a man will be blessed in his work.

26 And if anyone thinks that he worships Alaha, and does not control his tongue, his heart deceives him and his worship is in vain. 27 For service that is pure and holy before Abba Alaha, is this: to visit the fatherless and the widows in their affliction, and to keep himself spotless from the world.

Odes 1 – 4
Ode 1
1Mar-Yah* is on my head like a crown, and I shall never be without Him.
*(Hebrew: Yahveh יהוה‎)

2Plaited for me is the crown of truth, and it caused Your branches to blossom in me. 3For it is not like a parched crown that blossoms not; 4for You live upon my head, and have blossomed upon me.

5Your fruits are full and complete; they are full of Your salvation.

Ode 2
1I am putting on the love of Mar-Yah. 2And His members are with Him, and I am dependent on them; and He loves me. 3For I should not have known how to love Mar-Yah, if He had not continuously loved me.

4Who is able to distinguish love, except him who is loved? 5I love the Beloved and I myself love Him, and where His rest is, there I am as well. 6And I shall be no stranger, because there is no jealousy with Mar-Yah the Most High and Merciful.

7I have been united to Him, because the lover has found the Beloved, because I love Him that is the Son, I shall become a son. 8Indeed he who is joined to Him who is immortal, truly shall be immortal. 9And he who delights in the Life will become living.

10This is the Spirit of Mar-Yah, which is not false, which teaches the sons of men to know His ways.

11Be wise and understanding and awakened. Halilu’Ya.*
*(Praise Ya; Hebrew: Halleluyah הַלְּלוּיָהּ)

Ode 3
1No man can pervert Your holy place, O my God; nor can he change it, and put it in another place, 2because he has no power over it; for Your sanctuary You designed before You made special places.

3The ancient one shall not be perverted by those which are inferior to it.

4You have given Your heart, Maran, to Your believers. 5Never will You be idle, nor will You be without fruits; For one hour of Your faith is more excellent than all days and years.

6For who shall put on Your grace and be rejected? 7Because Your seal is known; and Your creatures are known to it. 8And Your hosts possess it, and the elect archangels are clothed with it.

9You have given to us Your fellowship, not that You were in need of us, but that we are always in need of You.

10Shower upon us Your gentle rain, and open Your bountiful springs which abundantly supply us with milk and honey. 11For there is no regret with You; that You should regret anything which You have promised; since the result was manifest to You.

12For that which You gave, You gave freely, so that no longer will You draw back and take them again. 13For all was manifest to You as Alaha*, and was set in order from the beginning before You. And You, Maran, have made all. Halilu’Ya.
*(Aramaic for “God”)

Ode 4
1I praise You, Maran, because I love You.

2O Most High, forsake me not, for You are my hope. 3Freely did I receive Your grace, may I live by it.

4My persecutors will come but let them not see me. 5Let a cloud of darkness fall upon their eyes; and let an air of thick darkness obscure them. 6And let them have no light to see, so that they cannot seize me.

7Let their designs become hardened, so that whatever they have conspired shall return upon their own heads. 8For they have devised a plan, but it was not for them. 9They prepared themselves maliciously, but they were found to be impotent.

10Indeed my confidence is upon Mar-Yah, and I will not fear. 11And because Mar-Yah is my salvation, I will not fear.

12And He is as a woven crown upon my head, and I shall not be shaken.

13Even if everything should be shaken, I shall stand firm. 14And though all things visible should perish, I shall not die; because Mar-Yah is with me, and I with Him. Halilu’Ya.
