Do not think that I came to dismiss the Torah or the Prophets. I have not come to dismiss, but to carry out. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one smallest letter or one stroke shall pass away from the Torah, until everything happens. power done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, doubtless, they would have
repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
23 And you, Capernaum, which has been lifted up to heaven, shall be brought down to
the Sheol. For if those deeds of power which were done in you had been done in Sodom,
it would have stood to this day.
24 But I say to you, It will be comfortable for the land of Sodom, in the day of
judgment, rather than for you.
25 At that time Jesus answered and said: I praise you, O my Father, Lord of heaven and
earth, that you have hidden these things from
the wise and knowing, and have revealed
them
to little children.
26 Yes, my Father; for so it was your desire.
27 Every thing is given up by my Father to me. And no one knows the Son, except the
Father. Also, no one knows the Father, except the Son, and he to whom
the Son is
pleased to reveal.
